I think the graphic novel taught a very good lesson. It teaches you how to be safe on the internet, like protecting you things and thinking before you post something. We give away too much personal information on the internet without even knowing. If we are not careful we may end up in a racket like the people in the graphic novel. After reading this I am going to try and be more careful in the internet by checking the privacy box so only certain people can see it and I will try not to post as much of my personal information on there because it seems like people who do not know you, but have seen you online actually do know you because of the amount of things we share and post.
Everyday Privacy
Things in the article that I already knew were that even if you delete a text it can still be found and tracked. I also already knew that a system, like a debit machine, records the details of your transactions. Things that surprised me in this article were that no matter where we are someone really is always watching. I was also surprised about how much internet we use and how much things we post to the social network to make our social lives interesting.
